Planned tasks
- Test out the 2nd nozzle
- Test out using both nozzles at the same time
- Implement the BLTouch (mount and stuff) and change the code to fix it
- Flash second circuit board when finished with the code on current board
- Add mounts for chains to sit nicely on axes
- Make sure all the L-brackets are tightened (might have gone loose over time due to vibrations)
- Print out Z-Axis stepper motor support before mounting chains https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1534530
For all the successful prints so far, I calibrated the build plate by setting the four corners at the PRINT'S BOUNDARIES instead of the build plate's boundaries. I found this to give the best outcome.
8/3/2021
- Changed the thumb dials to big gears because the "thumb dial" at the north-east corner is a nut and not a thumb dial. All items have been put into a zip-lock bag.
- Added Y-Axis chain end point for the chains below the bed at north-east corner.
- Planning on printing endstops for the axes and attaching them to the rods by the side for wire management
- Downloaded BLTouch mount from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2900790 [Not printed]
- When inserting the wires into the chain for wire management, do not put the PTFE/Bowden tube into the chains as it might affect printing. The tube is not even long enough so don't bother.
14/7/2021
- Removed SN04 Z-probe
- Added BLTouch mount and BLTouch
- Enabled BLTouch in Marlin Code.
- Changed from UBL to LINEAR bed levelling type (normal levelling, like the Ender 3V2)
- Adjusted probe offset from the nozzle
- Changed Z-offset from bed to -1.65
- Changed grid points from 3 to 5 (BLTouch will probe 25 points in total)
8/9/2021 (dis is brian using the laptop upsteirs)
- To do: Calibrate BLTouch
